In this ongoing class, we will meet with friends to start our day off right. We will participate in greeting, calendar, sight words, vocabulary, activity and have time for sharing.

Morning (or afternoon, or evening) meetings are a great way for your learner to practice basic skills consistently with friends. For second graders, morning meetings will reinforce skills learned in 1st grade and introduce new skills they will learn in 2nd grade. Each meeting we will have a fun time greeting one another, repeating positive affirmations, participating in calendar time, representing the number of the day, learning a new vocabulary word, and sharing. Please ensure your learner comes to class on time to get the most out of our morning meetings! Hey there! My name is Kaylani (I go by Teacher Kaylani or Mrs. K).
I am a state-certified teacher with experience in both Middle and Elementary school. I hold an M.Ed in Educational Leadership, a Bachelor's in Communication, and a TESOL certificate.
