Description

Class Experience

Join us in this ongoing school year class as we explore and conquer 2nd-grade math standards together. This class is a great way to practice new and previously learned skills with fun and engaging activities.   

We will begin class with a Math Warm-up followed by a mini-lesson on 
one main topic/standard for the day, activity/practice time, and then we will wrap up with any questions students might have.

We will work on the 2nd-grade objectives below:

- Number Sense to 1,000, Skip...

Students will learn how to:
 - Solve Word Problems Using Addition and Subtraction
 - Fast Math Facts (0-20)
 - Identifying Even and Odd Numbers
 - Skip Counting by 2's, 5's and 10's within 1000
 - Place Value to 1000
 - Comparing Numbers (<,>,=)

Math Journal or Binder to keep everything together
Pencil 
Crayons, Markers or Colored Pencils
* Worksheets for some weeks  - PDF will be provided

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
