Description

Class Experience

We will have an exciting time as we get to know each other, get motivated my math as we see how it is important in our daily life, and learn math strategies as we work together. Students will have time to explain their math thinking and speak!! Talking about their thought process will help all the students and improve your own child's understanding.
Students will share something related to math at the beginning of each class. (Example: They can share a piggy bank for money. They can share a recipe for our week on fractions. They can share a favorite math game or math book.)
Each week you will bring a show and tell that relates to our math topic for the day! I ask that students also bring a notebook to work out math problems.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
