Toys, Dinosaurs, Marshes, and Weather- OH MY! Welcome to Jr. Scientists Lab- Part 1 This is the first half of a full year curriculum for students in grades 2-4. Let's learn about science the fun way! NGSS Standards aligned! Hands-on; Engaging Lessons that are unique to this class with Ms. Kim CLASS STRUCTURE ➡ Hands-on Experiments will be included as often as possible. Weekly packets are posted each Sunday. Packets should be printed out for the student to get the full benefit of the class, but not required.

BS and M.Ed Elementary Education
26+ years of classroom experience
Kim has been teaching and inspiring elementary and middle school students for over 26 years in public, private, and online classrooms.
Ms. Kim loves to inspire students to find new passions, learn to love learning, and develop a passion for reading. Kim loves building relationships with her students and getting to know them.
When not teaching, you will find Kim spending time with her husband and two college-aged boys. She enjoys baking, reading, traveling, and spoiling her 2 class mascots- Maisie and Sophie, the family dogs! And of course, cheering on her Philadelphia sport teams!

TESOL certification
Dena has been teaching online for over ten years, impacting more than 10,000 students and counting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and a TESOL certification.
Ms. Dena’s teaching style is upbeat, passionate, and fun! She believes every student should have the opportunity to learn at their own pace, making the experience both memorable and fun!
When not teaching, you will find Ms. Dena enjoying time with her family and friends. Some of her hobbies include competitive racket sports, working out, skiing, and traveling. She also helps those in need in her community by serving as a foster care mom to babies and puppies.
