Welcome Scientists! Are you ready to explore the world all around us? Each week in this course we will focus on a science concept. We will have classes about physical science, 5 senses, solar system, animals, plants, and more! We will also complete a simple science experiment perfect for little learners! I will send out the materials list ahead of class to be sure you have materials. Most materials will be things you already have in your home! I would suggest that during the experiment part of the class that an adult help the little scientist if needed. I am excited to meet you! The classes do not build on each other. You can join at any time. Feel free to join for one or stay for all! I send out Materials and Optional Worksheets at the beginning of each month as well as each week. I have been an elementary school teacher for 10 years and specifically a kindergarten teacher for 6. I have a Florida Teaching Certificate and am qualified to teach science topics for the PreK-6 age. I have studied the topics and how to make them age appropriate for learners. I also have a certification in International Baccalaureate (IB) program. It is a worldwide, nonprofit education program founded to give all students the opportunity to receive an education fit for a globalizing world. I have been trained to present material by asking questions and helping students learn from their questions.
