Our drum lessons are designed for beginners who are looking to work towards achievable goals through practice and time management. Students will learn the basic foundation of drumming, including proper hand technique, basic drum rudiments, reading drum notation, and understanding rhythm and timing.
Rob has performed on drums across the United States, Canada, and Europe with artists including Henri Mancini, Carmen and Camille, Harry Kim, Bob Mintzer, George Garzone, Dave Ross, and the US Army Jazz Guardians. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston. His varied and rich performance experiences gave Rob the master tools for teaching the next generations of drum and percussion students. Rob has been teaching for 30 years, including over 3,000 hours of online drum lessons. He has developed his time-tested method of virtual learning. His teaching studio has education software, three drum sets, six camera angles, and studio-quality sound. Rob teaches the foundations needed to be a successful drummer. Each lesson is carefully crafted to meet the individual student’s learning style. Rob teaches with patience and aims to instill a spirit of fun in each session.
