This class is for Minecraft Java Edition for: Mac or PC. A basic understanding of Minecraft is required for joining the server and playing alongside students. I will help with any potential technical issues.

In order to access the server, each student will need to have purchased Minecraft Java Edition. At the beginning of the lesson, I will share the server address which will allow the student to access the world we will be using. The student will need a computer, keyboard, mouse, earphones and a webcam. If your computer cannot handle Zoom and Minecraft at the same time, I recommend using two devices, one for each application. For example: using a mobile phone for Zoom and a PC for Minecraft. 

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Minecraft

Minecraft contains very little violence, graphic or inappropriate content. There is no blood in the game, however players can hit/kill enemies or animals to survive. The graphics are very cartoon like and minimalistic. Students will be playing on an online server hosted and moderated by the teacher. 

Students who choose to disrupt the classroom or other learners will be removed from the server. Actions that are not acceptable includes but are not limited to: 
- Breaking other students/teachers creations
- Bad language or cursing
- Hacking 
- Using the game to grief another student
