#academic In this 1st grade ongoing summer math camp we will meet once a week to work on a different 1st grade skills. Through an interactive lesson we will also work on memorizing addition and subtraction facts as a warm up activity.

In this ongoing class, students will enjoy learning 1st-grade math skills. Some of the skills we will work on are word problems, adding and subtraction, skip counting, place value and other 1st-grade math skills. Through each positive and interactive lesson, students will become more confident learners. To practice the addition and subtraction facts I will use a site called Quizlet.com. I will share my screen and student so there will not be a need for students to have a login or access code. I can provide a link (no signup required) to the flashcards so that students can practice their facts on their own.
