Description

Class Experience

In this class we will master all concepts of 1st grade mathematics! Each week we will focus on a new core skill that is needed to successful complete a year of 1st grade math. Students will learn through games, hands on activities, repetition and social interaction. We will incorporate a mini-lesson, class activity and game into each class meeting.

Week 1: Understanding addition, quick addition facts to 10, double digit addition
Week 2: Understanding subtraction, quick subtraction facts,...

Students will improve their math skills and be able to successfully complete 1st grade math curriculum.

Students will have worksheets and activities to complete after class.

3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
