Description

Class Experience

This course will cover the 1st Grade Math Common Core Standards. Topics will include the following:

Students who are already taking 1st-grade math can enroll for additional support and practice. Homeschooled students can enroll for a complete 1st Grade math curriculum. 

The weekly schedule will include the following:
Monday: Live lesson with exposure and instruction of the concept. Students will be given the assignment to complete by Thursday.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Students will work on...

Certified elementary educator

Students will be given several homework options to choose from after every lesson including a focus on procedural fluency, conceptual understanding, and mathematical reasoning.

(Virtual options of these manipulatives will also be provided)

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Nearpod
Kahoot

Students will be given quizzes and assessments to measure understanding.

1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

No third-party tools will require an account.
