Class Experience
In this weekly ongoing class, learners will practice various math skills. Class format: 1. The first part of the class will be repetitive in order to build number sense and routine. It may include calendar, number of the day, story problems, counting on a hundred’s chart, and mental math. 2. We will then focus on a particular math skill for the week. Math skills we will work on are addition, subtraction, story problems, counting, graphing, shapes, measurement, number sense, time, coins,...
Download of print out will be provided before each class. If you do not have the print out, please have paper and pencil ready.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
