Class Experience
What will be taught?: This class teaches a full year’s curriculum of math, reading, writing, grammar/phonics, and spelling for 1st grade on an ongoing basis. Learners can participate at any time during the year or they can stay the whole year. Math and English topics will rotate throughout the year for review and practice. The class will cover fundamental concepts for 1st grade. What topics will the class cover?: Each week, we have a spelling list and have lessons in English and Math....
Children will learn the foundations they need within the 1st grade curriculum using hands-on and child-led learning styles.
Teachers for this class have a minimum of 5 years experience in the topic areas. Thanks
Homework will be set at the end of each lesson and any feedback will be posted within the classroom. We offer assessments, grading and progress reports as requested by parents.
Supplies are listed in the classroom each week.
Assessments available upon request.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We ask parents to be close by. At this age your child will need guidance and help. Be sure to stay off camera but be available for them. Thank you!
