In this 5 week flex class, students will build a stronger understanding of ELA concepts including blending, sight word recognition, phonological awareness as well as writing practice.

This class is broken into different parts.  Students are encouraged to take classes in order, but are not required. 

In this five week flex class, students will gain a better understanding of 1st grade ELA concepts.  Concepts include phonological awareness skills, phonics skills such as sight words recognition and blending words, learning to write your opinion! Writing prompts/questions will be provided each week....

This class is taught in English.

Students will improve their learning on 1st grade level ELA concepts: phonological awareness, phonics and writing skills.

As a certified 1st grade teacher by day, my training and experience will help students in their learning goals.

Individual assignments will be assigned weekly.  Assignments may include video uploads of blending words or practicing phonological awareness skills.

Written assignments will be required to be uploaded weekly.

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
