Class Experience
Oh no!! Something strange is going on at Farmer Fred's Farm and the whole place is a MESS! Farmer Fred needs our Math Detectives help!! In this super fun mystery, students must use their addition skills to discover five very important clues about the case: Who messed up the barn? Where is his favorite hat? When did this event happen? What was used to make the mess? Why was the mess made? This fun detective story has students read simple words and phrases to match information given with a text...
Student will review and practice: -adding numbers (0-20) -comparing numbers (greatest and least) -addition mystery picture (0-20) -adding three single-digit numbers -time (AM/PM, yesterday/today) -addition in a vertical format (0-20) -addition in a horizontal format (0-20)
Students will need: -6 PDF files printed before class (provided by teacher) -pencil -glue -scissors -markers, crayons, or colored pencils
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is recommended when our youngest learners are using scissors.
