Oh no!! There is a serious situation back in the Prehistoric times! One of the dinosaurs has been digging deep holes everywhere which are causing lots of problems! The cavemen and cavewomen need our Math Detectives help!! In this super fun mystery, students must use their subtraction skills to discover five very important clues about the case: When will the Dino Digger most likely dig the next hole? What is the Dino Digger using to dig the holes? Where is the Dino Digger? Who is the Dino...
Student will review and practice: -subtracting numbers in a horizontal format (0-20) -subtracting numbers in a vertical format (0-20) -subtraction mystery picture (1-20) -comparing numbers (greatest or least)
Students will need: -6 PDF files printed before class (provided by teacher) -pencil -glue -scissors -markers, crayons, or colored pencils
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is recommended when our youngest learners are using scissors.
