Your child will receive individualized instruction to ensure a thorough understanding of the Math concept(s) he/she is trying to grasp. Whether it is achieving grade-level standards or accelerating to the next-level I can work toward whatever goal you and your child have in mind. I have extensive materials to teach your child but would be happy to work with the him/her on their homework or any school materials he/she may have if that is your wish. Prior to your session I ask that parents message me about the Math topic(s) they would like addressed with their child so that I am better prepared for our time together.

Hello, my name is Elisa Wombacher and I am a third-grade teacher in Raleigh, North Carolina. I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education and a concentration in Mathematics from Rhode Island College. I have taught third grade for 22 years.
The State of North Carolina recently started a program to acknowledge and reward 3rd grade teachers whose students score in the top 25% for Reading improvement statewide. I have earned that award in 4 of the 5 years it has been offered. During the previous year I was a finalist for Teacher of the Year at my school.
Many of my students have different learning styles and I strive to reach each and everyone of them. I absolutely love teaching and feel I was born to teach. What makes my day is to see former students coming down my hallway to say good morning and tell how much they miss third grade!
We have 4 children and my oldest son graduated from Brown University in Applied Mathematics and has a Masters in Data Science from Brown as well. He is currently a Data Scientist /Product Manager for a Silicon Valley start-up corporation.
Our 2nd oldest, a daughter, graduated with a Mathematics degree from UNC-Wilmington then graduated University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry & is a dentist in the area.
Our 3rd oldest, is a daughter, who graduated from UNC-Wilmington and currently teaches 2nd Grade full-time in Cary, NC & is pursuing her Masters in School Administration from Appalachian State University.
Our youngest, is a son graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in Mathematics & Statistics with a minor in Entrepreneurship & is currently attending Brown University as he pursues a Masters in Data Science.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, going to the beach, and watching my beloved Patriots!Reviews
