In this 4-week class, we travel back to the 1990s to explore family-friendly PG & PG-13 movies through interactive trivia, fun facts, and pop culture challenges. Students will build critical thinking skills while diving into 90s films.

Students will explore popular 1990s PG and PG-13 movies through trivia, film analysis, and pop culture connections, while building memory, discussion, and critical thinking skills. Themes include animated classics, teen comedies, action films, and fun facts like ticket prices and 90s trends. Each class includes a quick intro, themed slides, short video clips, interactive trivia or games, and group discussion. I use visuals, clips, and guided questions to create a fun, engaging experience that’s both structured and flexible. Friendly, energetic, and inclusive—I encourage participation and create a low-pressure environment for sharing. Students engage through live games, questions, discussions, and feedback throughout each class.
Learning Goals
Students will develop critical thinking skills by analyzing movie scenes, quotes, and plot elements.
Students will learn to recognize key themes, characters, and cultural references in popular 1990s PG and PG-13 films.
