1984 George Orwell's thought-provoking novel 1984 covers the themes of dehumanization, isolation, repression, loneliness, social class disparity, and abuse of power. These topics will be discussed in a respectful manner. There is sexual content in this book. It is not discussed in class as it is not important to discuss and understand the book. We leave it at the characters have a relationship. I encourage each parent to research each book to make sure it is a fit for your child and family. All sensitive topics will be discussed with respect. This rule is not negotiable. Respectful discussion is mandatory.
