*Masters of Education degree in Elementary Education *Classroom Educator Certification (30 Hours in-person class) formally trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach through the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE) and the Oregon Dyslexia Institute (ODI) *19 years experience teaching in the primary grades in both public and private schools in the United States *Current 1st grade public school teacher *Trained with Really Great Reading curriculum, which meets the "Science of Reading" definition and uses the Orton-Gillingham Approach *Owner of Private Tutoring Business for K-8th grade students, specializing in Spanish, Math, Reading and Writing. Supporting students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning difficulties *Parent of two homeschool primary grade students and understanding advocate for parent choice in their child's education
