Homework
1 hour per week. There will be an optional homework set after each class. Often it will be to carry on the writing or reading techniques that we have learned in the lesson, however, sometimes there will be bespoke homework. If students choose to do this and then upload their work to the chat or classroom, I will be more than happy to provide them with feedback.Assessment
Children will be given immediate verbal feedback throughout the lesson and parents will receive written feedback via the classroom at the end of the session.Grading
There will be a certificate on completion of every term.Class Experience

I am nearly fully booked- please contact me for availability instead of using the automatic booking system. 🌟Join me for a fun one-on-one English course, perfect for 9-11 year olds, with an experienced UK teacher, where we will master reading, writing, grammar, and spelling skills through the UK national curriculum goals. Free certificates each term! 🏅 This class is perfect for 9-11 year olds, but this is not a strict age limit and other age students are welcome. 🤝 Beginners will be guided step-by-step, advanced students challenged with targeted questions and vocabulary. For over 15 years now, I have been working as a teacher in mainstream British primary schools (with children aged 4-11). In my role, I have worked with a range of children, from those with additional needs to children whom have been classified as gifted and talented.
For 10 years, I have been the head of English at two different schools, where I have had the responsibility for driving progress and achievement. My focus as a teacher and a leader has always been to help children reach academic excellence through exciting and innovative lessons.
