1:1 Tutoring Preschool and Kindergarten Learning With Ms. Lauren

I provide one on one tutoring for Pre-K and Kindergarten in math, reading, and writing for 30 minutes once a week.   

Parents will have an opportunity to provide me with information on what is needed to provide the learner a taliored learning experience when the learner is registered. We will then build a learning plan for the student moving foward.

My teaching style is a hands on approach. I try to talior my lessons to the learning style your child learns best in.  Some of the different learning styles I cater to are visual, auditory, verbal, social and kinesthetic. Multiple learning styles can also be incorporated into the lesson. My classes tend to be engaging and require student interaction and response. Some students can shy and not very confident, Ms. Lauren tries to build a trusting rapport with them the first few times we meet. 
 
Below is just a brief example of areas that can be worked on. Please let Ms. Lauren know your direct needs at enrollement. 
Reading (pre-reading skills, beginning reading skills, CVC words, sight words, spelling, comprehension, etc) 
Alphabet (letter names, letter sounds, capital and lowercase letters) 
Writing (name, letters, numbers, sight words, CVC words, etc) 
Math (recognizing numbers, 2-D andshapes, 1-to-1 correspondence, adding, subtracting, counting, patterns etc) 
Colors
Social Skills 
Patterns 

Keep in mind this is an ongoing class. Therefore you can subscribe/unsubscribe at any time.
No two classes are the same, each class is customized to fit your student's needs. 

Communication is very important when tutoring. After each class you will get a message from Ms. Lauren with the information on what as  worked on in class, and how your student did with that lesson. I will also list  any questions or concerns moving foward. If there are other areas you feel need addressed for the next week just please ask then so I can plan the lesson accordingly.
