Description
Class Experience
Students will get the chance to work through relevant examples under my guidance. By the end of the class, learners should be more confident in their ability to solve similar problems independently and have a better understanding of the topic(s) of their choice.
I have experience teaching mathematics to students pre-K through 12th grade and adult learners at the university level. I am a former high school mathematics teacher and am very passionate about the subject!
No homework will be assigned, but the teacher may share some additional resources for the learner to browse after class.
Please bring any example problems and resources the learner currently has related to the topic we will be covering. Paper and pencils, a calculator, cheat sheets, graphs, formulas, etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner will be informally assessed in class as we work through example problems. The teacher will ask comprehension questions throughout class to gauge student understanding.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
