1:1 Tutoring - Fractions

In this personalized tutoring session, students will develop a strong understanding of fractions, including how to compare, simplify, add, subtract, multiply, and divide them. Whether your child is struggling with fractions or wants to build confidence in their math skills, this class is designed to meet their individual needs.

Depending on your student's needs, we will cover essential fraction concepts, such as understanding numerators and denominators, finding equivalent fractions, simplifying fractions, and comparing them. Students can also learn how to add and subtract fractions with like and unlike denominators, multiply and divide fractions, and convert between fractions, decimals, and percentages. Real-world applications will be included to show how fractions are used in everyday life.

Each session begins with a quick assessment to identify strengths and areas for growth. Lessons are structured to include a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and interactive activities to reinforce learning. The class is fully customized to match the student’s pace and learning style, ensuring they feel confident and supported every step of the way.
