I will work with your learner on whatever it may be that makes spelling difficult for them. We may cover phonemes, syllables, special sounds, spelling rules, sight words, etc. Whether they have specific assignments they want help with, or they would be better suited with general assistance, I’m eager to make a difference. Our primary focus will be on spelling, but we will do an engaging activity at the beginning to establish our relationship. Once we’ve covered the material, we’ll review, and then end our session on a parting activity. I’m patient and laid back as a teacher, ready to connect with your learner, as if they were my own child.

Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Moravian University (formerly Moravian College)
English has always been my favorite subject (I won multiple spelling bees, ha ha ;-)) , and majored in English. I have taught spelling, in the homeschool setting, to my three children, and enjoy helping students find a way that works for them in breaking down words in order to spell. I have taught my own children, along with others ages 3-18 on another teaching platform and in the church setting. Reviews
