Description

Class Experience

Students will learn how to use the operation of multiplication to solve different variations of multiplication problems from basic to advanced.
I am experienced in this topic as I have taught for 10 years in Special Education, as a Certified Elementary Special Education Teacher. I have taught grades Kindergarten-8th grade and have lots of math experience in these grade bands. I am great at working 1:1 with students to achieve mastery in skills like math quickly. Please look at my profile for additional teaching experience and certifications.
Homework problems will be given in the classroom after the lesson. This will include extension problems for practice during the times students are not not in class.
Pencil Paper Multiplication Chart (optional)
Informal assessments will be given to see where the student is at, and what they need to learn and if they have achieved the skill.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This is a 1:1 ongoing tutoring course where learners can sign up and come and go as needed depending on the skill. If more detailed information is needed please reach out to Mrs. Mater. Also, students will need to bring a pencil and paper with them to class sessions or a white board and marker. This will be for extra practice problems.
