1:1 Tutoring Elementary Math

I can help tutor your learner in a variety of math concepts such as: time. Money, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, place value, and more. 

What topic will be covered? 
- Topics will chosen based on your child's needs. Depending on the topic we can possibly cover more than 1 topic in 1 session. * Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance what you would like us to work on for each session. This way I can accurately plan the class accordingly. 

How is class structured? 
Based on the needs of your child I will provide extra practice in that area. This may be done through worksheets, games, etc. It is not guaranteed that each of these items will be used each lesson. The more time I have to plan a session for your child the better it will be. If I do not receive any notification of what areas to work on with your child prior to class I will ask at the beginning of class what your learner would like to work on during the lesson. 

My 1:1 tutoring session will look different from family to family, learner to learner, and even class to class. A majority of my families either 1. want extra practice in certain skills  or 2. homework help.  

It is important that parents communicate the area of needs with me and continue to have open communication. If at any time you have a problem or want to change how things are going for any reason, please do not hesitate to send me a message. I aim to make this class what your learner needs. Things are taught differently by different teachers and in different areas. If at any time you feel this class is not a good fit, please reach out and we can either cancel any remaining sessions or see how we can make the class a better fit. 

I aim to see learners succeed and have positive relationships with both my Outschool learners and families. 

Learners will be interacting with me throughout the lesson.
