Description

Class Experience

In this class, your learner will receive one-on-one individualized help. I will design each class based on what your learner needs!  I am able to help with homework, reteach and remediate a skill, and even accelerate your learner for upcoming concepts. 

I plan to communicate with parents prior to, and during class to discuss and determine what needs to be addressed with each learner. Communication with parents and learners will be vital to the success of this course.

The learning goals of this class will vary based on what each individual student needs. Each class meeting will be designed specifically for your learner. The class may involve homework help or a specific skill. Again, communication with parents and learners is key in making this course successful for each student.

As an educator of 21+ years, I have had extensive experience with all types of learners. I have taught at all levels K-12.  I am a certified teacher in early childhood education as well as special education.  I am currently a Special Education Inclusion teacher (PreK-5) in a brick and mortar school.  I am very familiar with all content in the elementary setting and am qualified to teach any subjects at the elementary level.

Homework will be assigned as needed for each individual student.

Depending on what skills your learner will address in class with me, there may be materials needed.  However, this will be thoroughly communicated with you in the classroom platform.

Assessments will be ongoing to adjust instruction as needed to meet the needs of each individual student.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

There may be times that your student will need paper or a specific worksheet.  This will be communicated within the classroom posts.
