I have been a tutor for Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Linear Algebra for college students while I was an undergraduate math major. I have been certified as a tutor under the CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) International Tutor Training Programme. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics and will be continuing my studies in a master's program this year. I have really enjoyed tutoring on Outschool during the past year and look forward to continuing to share my love for the subject!
No homework will be assigned, however, I will gladly provide practice problems if the student wishes to work on problems in their own time.
Bring your subject notes, worksheets, study guides, textbook, or practice problems you'd wish to discuss in this class. Additionally, have a notebook/paper to write on during the session since we will be working through problems!
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I will have the problems that you will send me in advance, open on my screen. Or, if informed beforehand, I can have problems ready to work on as well! We will solve problems on the zoom whiteboard, or on paper depending on your learner's preference. I often use Khan Academy and Paul's Online notes for additional problems.
You can learn anything! (on hiatus till late August)
