Welcome to Class! This 1:1 tutoring class is to help students learn or enhance academic skills in Spanish. Each week will be a different theme. Teacher will provide activities weekly to support learning. Class is taught in Spanish, but will provide English support if needed. Parents can request a specific goal or objective or teacher will cover the following skills based on students level: - Days of the week - Months of the year - Seasons - ABCs letters and sounds - Vowels and Consonants - Syllables - colors and shapes - Reading and comprehension - Counting - addition and subtraction - multiplication and division - writing - Communication skills - Spanish vocabulary I will use songs, images, and online books to support learning. Curriculum can be modified per parent request.

Hello! My name is Cynthia Burleigh. I live in Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor in Science in Information Systems. I started my career in a banking institute, but quickly realized I wanted to become a teacher. I have been working in education for 15 years, 3 years teaching with Outschool. I am Bilingual Certified - speak English and Spanish and teach Bilingual and ESL students. My teaching experience includes: Robotics, Codings, Spanish, Pre K - 3rd grade Bilingual instruction, Bilingual Reading Specialist, and STEM teacher.
I love to teach Reading, Math, Spanish, Technology and STEM (including robotics). I love spending time with family, teaching, and running. A little fun fact about me...I run marathons for fun! I can't wait to see you in class.Reviews
