In this 8-week class we will meet twice a week one on one. I will assess where your learner needs to start and will begin at that level. I will follow the scope and sequence of the Sonday System.

Description

Class Experience

In this one on one individual Zoom lesson, phonics sounds, and rules will be taught using the Sonday system an Orton-Gillingham researched based method. We will use kinesthetic hand movements to learn to "touch spell" and "tracing" to assist with reading. This is an interactive lesson. I will go over all six steps of the program. These are multi-sensory, systematic, and structured lessons. It begins with phonics using vowels, vowel pairs and blends. Each step has a set time to spend on it....

A white board, dry erase markers and a dry eraser. Headset HIGHLY recommended. (letter sounds are heard better)

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
