Parental Guidance
I understand that certain science topics, such as reproduction or evolution, can be sensitive or controversial for some families. As your child's tutor, I want to assure you that I will always approach these subjects from a factual, science-based perspective, without delving into potentially upsetting or mature content. While the breadth of middle school science and high school biology means that we may cover topics that some families may find challenging, I will be mindful of the developmental appropriateness and will not introduce anything that is beyond the scope of the academic standards. If a topic arises that you feel may be a concern, please don't hesitate to let me know, and we can work together to find an alternative approach that meets your child's needs. My goal is to create a safe, supportive learning environment where your child can explore scientific concepts and develop a strong foundation in the subject matter. I will always be transparent about the content we cover and welcome open communication with you to ensure your child's comfort and success. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
