Description

Class Experience

Default goal: I help students obtain the skillsets needed to not only apply for, get accepted, and complete the veterinary education, I help students become a successful vet with the skillsets to maximize their revenue and happiness in the field.

The student and family unit creates the child's ultimate goal. Each student may create their own endgame goal as these skills are transferrable amongst professional schooling. Some students choose to not attend professional university and become an entrepreneur.
I am an Animal Scientist after graduating NC State in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science Pre-Vet with a minor and additional concentrations. I worked in veterinary medicine and animal science in many veterinary clinics and at NC State ranging from 2004-2014 when I moved into education of animal species. I am prepared for this course due to business ownership, my Agriculture Business Management minor at university and volunteer work with youth including the youth at multiple Boys and Girls Club.
Homework varies per class based on student interest and progress. Assignments will be given, reviewed, and feedback is offered to parents as needed.
Printouts during the class time to create a work book.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
There is no letter grade, however I can provide written reports as needed. Student workbooks will collectively or singularly make up an informal student self-assessment I will supplement as needed with feedback and opinon. Students will learn the importance of self-assessment and how that skill is of high importance in the career world.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Resources come from my brain and knowledge of content I've created in CANVA and will present to the class as a printable in the classroom. Any screen shares will go through Google Docs/Sheets/Slides. Access to Google Docs/Sheets maybe be useful for some students if parents allow, but it is not required.
