In this half hour Saxophone lesson, students will work on technique and tone, and be coached by a professional in the field.
Class experience
This class is unique to the learner. Whether they are just starting, or hoping to go to University for music, I can meet them where they are and help them grow in the most efficient way possible. We will focus on aspects of becoming a better musician and saxophonist (such as technique, tone, theory, rhythm, repertoire, etc.), but what we focus on in the lesson depends primarily on what the student needs work on, and what their goals are. Students will come away with actionable steps to improve their saxophone playing and musicianship.
Homework Offered
It is expected that the student practice the exercises suggested. There will be little improvement without solo study. How long this takes depends largely on the student and their desire to improve.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

This depends on a lot of factors, including the student's level, what they are struggling with, and what their goals are. There are plenty of good method books out there, and after our first lesson we can discuss what resources might be best. Also, either a metronome app, or a physical metronome, will be necessary if the student wishes to continue and grow.
