Class Experience
Does your child need support with growing as a mathematician or as a reader/writer? Please message me before the lesson so I can create a customized lesson for your child. I will communicate with you and assess your child to best understand their needs. I will use my experience as an Elementary Special Education teacher to help them grow and feel confident in their academics. For Math, I can work on number concepts, computation skills, and word problems. Some examples of the math skills...
Students will improve their math skills and/or reading and writing skills based on their current skill level.
Homework can be given upon request.
Worksheets will be provided. If you are unable to print, the student can follow along with the teacher's screen.
I will informally assess how your child is doing and send feedback at the end of each session. I will do a formal assessment based on skills learned every few weeks.
30 minutes per class, and maybe some time outside of class.
