1:1 Reading & Writing Tutoring With Certified SPED & ELA Teacher - ESA Approved

Does your learner need personalized support in reading and writing? As a certified Special Education (SPED) and English Language Arts (ELA) teacher, I provide one-on-one tutoring tailored to your child's needs. This ongoing class is designed to help with homework, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and the writing process—all at a pace that supports their unique learning style.

✨ What to Expect in Each Session:
📖 Engaging Reading & Writing Practice – We’ll start with a fun icebreaker question, then dive into a short story, article, or passage. Learners will practice answering text-dependent questions and respond to a relevant writing prompt to build comprehension and critical thinking skills.

📝 Optional Enrichment – Students will receive an optional at-home assignment for additional feedback and practice.

💡 Personalized Content – Topics may include:

•  Gothic literature, mythology, science fiction
•  AVID articles & argumentative pieces
•  Fiction/nonfiction short stories & passages 
•  Other readings based on student interests
