In this ongoing reading tutoring class, students will practice reading, fluency, and comprehension at their level. The teacher will spend the first session or two conducting informal assessments getting to know the student. The teacher will work with the student to find content that the child enjoys reading while scaffolding learning as the student practices reading. The books used for the class will be based on the student's level. Books may be easy readers written by myself or books chosen based on the student's interest and the parent's assistance. The parent will need to get a copy of the book for the student so will need to be aware of the book chosen.
