Student will gain fluency in encoding and decoding single and multi-syllable words based on their individual needs determined by their learning plan. 

I am a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor.  I completed both the Comprehensive and Intermediate courses.  I also completed the practicum for the Comprehensive course.  I have taught Orton-Gillingham in a classroom and with individual students.  

Homework Offered
Each concept taught you child will be given a decodable reader to practice reading.  The decodable are short stories and will focus only on the sounds you child can read independently.  
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
You child's progress will be assessed through weekly dictation of words and sentences based on the concept taught.  A learning plan time frame will be developed and at the end of the time frame your child will be assessed.  The assessment will determine if a new learning plan needs to be developed. 
Grades Offered

I use the sources and materials provide by IMSE (Institute for Multi-Sensory Education).  The materials will be provided for the student.
