US Grade 10
In this class, students will be reading grade level stories with grade level vocabulary to help student gain confidence in their reading, comprehension of the story by ten to fifteen answering questions about the stories. First, the student will read 1-2 stories out loud in class to the teacher, then together we will answer the 10-15 comprehension questions about the stories we just read. We will focus on finding the answers in the stories to help students be able to use their critical thinking skills to remember and scan the passages to find the answers needed to answer the questions fully. Worksheets will be provided for students to use to read the stories along with the teacher and write in their answers to the questions as well. Students can either print out the worksheet to write physically, or use the google doc to write in the stories.
