I do not have an age limit on this class and can assist students of all ages with their reading and writing needs. Your child will learn the following skills based on their grade or ability level: reading comprehension, answering comprehension-based questions, editing sentences, using proper grammar, and writing creative writing prompts, summaries, narratives, opinion pieces, and argumentative/persuasive paragraphs or essays. The skills taught with writing will include topic sentences, thesis statements, intro, body, and conclusion.
This is my fifth year teaching. I have a masters in special education, and I have worked with students in grades 3-12, teaching a variety of math and English classes to students with mild to severe learning disabilities.
