Your child will learn the following skills based on their grade or ability level: reading comprehension, answering comprehension-based questions, editing sentences, using proper grammar, and writing creative writing prompts, summaries, narratives, opinion pieces, and argumentative/persuasive paragraphs or essays. The skills taught with writing will include topic sentences, thesis statements, intro, body, and conclusion.
This is currently my fifth year teaching. I have a master's degree in education and have experience teaching grades 3-12 for both general education and special education students with all subjects, but I love teaching reading and writing!
