I have a bachelor's degree, and I am trained to teach and tutor for PSAT and SAT to which requires knowledge of a lot of math, including basic math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and some trig. I have had all that up through Calculus myself. I am very good at teaching step-by-step for understanding.
Homework Offered
Sometimes the student needs to do some practice at home for basic skills. For example, if they are not strong in multiplying positive and negative numbers, they will have practice on that because so many questions use that concept. If the student is good in an area, they don't necessarily have to do the homework.

Assessments Offered
Grades Offered
No Pre-Reqs as we will work on basic skills where needed as that is the foundation for understanding higher math.
Ability to print out papers as needed. A basic hand calculator. I don't teach much with calculator. I think basic math should be done by hand, but more complicated calculations can be done by a calculator.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
I have my own notes and sometimes practice questions. I may use pre-made practice sheets for some math. Video may come from Khan Academy or YouTube. YouTube won't be watched directly by them. I will share it in my classroom if I use that. I also will show them how math relates to PSAT and SAT problems so they will see those.
