Assessment
Teacher and parents will have open communication regarding the progress of the learner using the message system provided by Outschool.Class Experience
In this one-to-one class, your child will be taught: yoga postures, mindfulness activities, and meditation. This class is built to promote mindfulness and stress relief while improving flexibility and increasing strength. The class will end with a few minutes of quiet, guided meditation (savasana). Several opportunities will be given to ask questions, discuss thoughts, and share. This is a private classroom created to hold a one-on-one yoga class. *Please send a message, if you have more than one child in your family and feel they both (all) would benefit from holding a private practice together. I will do my best to accommodate you.*

Parental Guidance
You understand that yoga includes physical movement and, as is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. By participating, you acknowledge that your child is fit to do so. If they experience any pain or discomfort, they agree to listen to their body, and discontinue the activity. You assume full responsibility for any and all damages, which may occur through participation. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment.

-Yoga mat, towel or non-slip socks -Cleared space to move about -Water bottle -Comfortable clothing for movement *(optional) A favorite stuffed animal, pillow, or blanket for the guided meditation.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Ms. Amber is the founder of Flow On The Go, LLC. She is a certified children's yoga teacher. In addition, Ms. Amber is also a 500hr yoga teacher. Before teaching children yoga, Ms. Amber worked as a physical therapist assistant helping children with special needs for over 15 years. She continually strives to learn all she can to help children reach their fullest potential.
