1:1 Private Tutoring - Reading, Writing, Phonics & Comprehension

📖 In this personalized 1:1 tutoring session, young learners will strengthen their reading, writing, phonics, and comprehension skills through engaging, customized lessons tailored to their individual needs. Whether your child is learning to decode words, improve fluency, enhance writing skills, or develop deeper reading comprehension, this class provides a supportive and structured environment to help them grow as confident readers and writers.

Each session is designed based on the learner’s skill level and goals. Activities may include:
✔️ Phonics and decoding strategies
✔️ Sight word recognition and spelling practice
✔️ Reading fluency and expression
✔️ Writing structure, grammar, and sentence-building
✔️ Reading comprehension strategies (summarizing, inferencing, main idea, etc.)

Parents are encouraged to share their child’s specific learning needs and goals before the first session so that lessons can be personalized accordingly.

My teaching style allows for my learners to be active participants, free to ask questions, and have fun while learning. I like to include slides, music, and fun educational games with my lessons whenever possible. My goal is to fill any gaps that may be challenging the learner to "catch-up" and build your child's confidence and love for reading and/or writing. 

*I can also customize our tutoring sessions to include basic math skills- shapes, place value, addition, subtraction, word problems, time, and money.*


🚨Cancellation policy:
I follow Outschool's standard cancellation and refund policy. You can cancel or reschedule a future meeting by going to the classroom and clicking on Meetings. If you cancel within 24 hours of payment or the Sunday auto-renewal date, the system will issue a refund. If you cancel after Sunday's auto-renewal, you will not receive a refund. You can reschedule a class up to 48 hours before the meeting by editing your meetings in the classroom.

Your learner will need paper and pencil for every session.
