1:1 Private Tutoring: Middle School Writers Workshop

During this one-on-one private tutoring session middle school students in grades 5-8 will receive individualized assistance with their writing. We will work on grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, sentence transitions, paragraphs, conclusions, figurative language, writing a hook, writing a thesis statement, writing warm-ups/prompts, essays, and more! Each session will focus on the student's individual needs in order to improve their overall skills as a writer. Students may bring their own work for editing assistance. Students will at times write essays throughout the writing sessions. All essays are taught using a five paragraph format. Tutoring sessions are ongoing, and parents can choose as many or as few sessions as they would like based on student's needs and performance. I will be teaching using the do I do, we do, you do method. Students will receive individualized feedback and we will work together to set goals. Please feel free to send me a message prior to class with any individual needs or concerns! Please upload any assignments that require editing assistance prior to the start of class.


Refund policy: Students are not refunded for missed classes or canceling within 24 hours of class start time.
