This is a 1:1 tutoring class for Pre-K through 3rd grade. The student will receive personalized tutoring with reading, spelling, vocabulary, and writing. I provide individualized lessons for each learner based on their needs.

📚Reading Lessons focus on letter and sound awareness, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.  I will ask parents to share with me their areas of concerns/goals for their learner prior to our first meeting. In our first meeting I will assess the child to determine a starting point for our lessons. I will share the outcome of the assessment with the parents and confirm the learning goals.

My teaching style allows for my learners to be active participants, free to ask questions, and have fun while learning. I like to include slides, music, and fun educational games with my lessons whenever possible. My goal is to fill any gaps that may be challenging the learner to "catch-up" and build your child's confidence and love for reading and/or writing. 

*I can also customize our tutoring sessions to include basic math skills- shapes, place value, addition, subtraction, word problems, time, and money.*

🚨Cancellation policy:
I follow Outschool's standard cancellation and refund policy. You can cancel or reschedule a future meeting by going to the classroom and clicking on Meetings. If you cancel within 24 hours of payment or the Sunday auto-renewal date, the system will issue a refund. If you cancel after Sunday's auto-renewal, you will not receive a refund. You can reschedule a class up to 48 hours before the meeting by editing your meetings in the classroom.
