Homework
1-2 hours per week. Learners will be assigned homework directly from the material covered in lesson. It will take a student approximately 10-30 minutes, 4-5 times during the week after lesson to have command of the new material.Class Experience
Private Piano Lessons With Mrs. Pauli is designed to be a personalized lesson plan for an individual piano player. These lessons are offered in a single lesson per week basis. The lesson will include practice on the individual songs from Mrs. Pauli's Piano Music Class Curriculum or personal song choice and activities or games for note reading, counting beats, ear training, and music theory. Students will get a recap of what was worked on after lesson with a recommendation for items to practice in their personal Google slideshow organized by date. The objective of a private lessons is to encourage a joy of piano playing and provide an opportunity to learn how to practice. A slideshow will be provided to the learner where new music will be uploaded and can be printed at your discretion for off-screens practice time. Recommended practice time is 10-30 minutes 4-5 different days between lessons (depending on level). Please schedule your practice times as part of your commitment to piano lessons in order to progress through the music at an enjoyable rate. Studies have shown that piano students who practice between lessons pursue music longer and have a better experience in lessons. Learning Goals
Students will work on material from Mrs. Pauli's Piano Music Class Curriculum such as scales, finger exercises and techniques, how to read musical notation and instructions, and songs at their level for enjoyment. Students will also discover the satisfaction and results from practicing.

Parental Guidance
Music will be viewed during class on a Google Slideshow. After class, the music can be printed from the slideshow for practicing off screens. Youtube videos may be made available of professional perfomances or guided practice videos depending on level.
Supply List
There are no books to purchase for these piano lessons. I have created a curriculum of music from very begginer music reading and songs for each hand alone through advanced intermediate piano pieces such as Rondo Alla Turca by Mozart. Please be sure that your learner can see the screen while at the keys of their piano/keyboard. Music is provided by slideshow share during class and emailed to the learner immediately after class for printing or viewing on screens while practicing. There are over 120 piano lessons worth of material in this consistant format with Mrs. Pauli. There are also opportunities to enroll in a group class each term.
