In this weekly 45 min class, students receive targeted math tutoring by a licensed experienced math teacher who will build a custom plan to cultivate stronger skills, a firmer understanding, and improved confidence in grade level math.

Students will improve their math understanding, competence, and confidence through guided practice and targeted instruction by a licensed teacher.

I am a graduate of a highly certified teacher education program, with a Bachelors Degree in Education, and 10 years of classroom experience teaching multiple subjects including math, to students grades K - 6.  My greatest strengths are in math and science, and I truly enjoy math as a practice.  I am trained in both traditional and common core math practices. I employ a variety of modalities in my instruction to help meet the needs of a variety of learners.

Students should bring their own math assignments and/or math curriculum with them to class, along with scratch paper and writing utensils.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
