US Grade 3 - 6
TOPICS: Math, Tutoring, Fractions, Decimals, Multiplication, Division, Common Core, Word Problems In this 1:1 Private Tutoring class, students will have access to a trained and licensed math teacher to help complete math homework, and/or work on targeted math content areas. For weekly, ongoing meetings, the teacher will conduct informal evaluations of the student's math abilities during the first two meetings and create a plan of instruction based on the needs of the student as well as common math standards for their current grade level. Weak areas will be addressed with instruction and guided practice. If homework help or specific math content instruction is desired, please inform the teacher of the area of concern, and/or upload images of the student's assignment(s) to the classroom page prior to each meeting. The assignments will be reviewed and/or completed with the student, and any missing instruction will be provided. NEED MORE THAN ONCE PER WEEK? Subscribe to additional available sections or reach out to request additional times. For struggling math learners, consistent and high-frequency exposure to math is key! Supply List
Students should bring their own math assignments and/or math curriculum with them to class, along with scratch paper and writing utensils.
