Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Develop confidence when speaking Portuguese
Rafael Silva was born in Brazil and is a native speaker of Portuguese. He graduated with a B.A. in Psychology with a focus on learning and education at the Washington University in St. Louis. He has also tutored students in Portuguese and various other subjects since October 2020.
Practice worksheets may be provided via Google Docs based on student's learning goals. Homework should take less than one hour .
A laptop or computer. No tablets or smartphones please.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Practice worksheets will be distributed via Google Docs. No special account is required. We can make other accommodations for families who are unable to access Google Docs. Sessions may include the usage of Nearpod. No special account is required. Students will receive a Nearpod link to click on during the session. Nearpod does not store personal identifying information.
