Homework

Beginner - Intermediate Level
Interested in a personalized approach to learning to write with an IEW thematic curriculum? Register for private, weekly class sessions designed to give your child individual lessons in your choice of curriculum. In this individualized class, the student will meet one-on-one with me in a positive environment to cover each lesson in your chosen IEW thematic student book. We will work on vocabulary, brainstorming, and outlining as we cover different writing formats and stylistic enhancements. We will utilize the shared screen via the Outschool classroom and students will learn through demonstration, guided practice, activities, and discussion. Homework is required to be submitted weekly for feedback. As the only student in the class, learning material may be designed around personal needs or learning styles. Families may choose to have private instruction with one of the following thematic curriculums by IEW: -People and Places in Our Community -Adventures in Writing -Discoveries in Writing -Fun and Fascinating -Wonders of Science -Ancient History-Based -Medieval History-Based -US History-Based -Advanced US History-Based -Canadian History-Based I provide a positive atmosphere for learning and always strive to be welcoming and encouraging. **Note: this listing does not include IEW SSS curriculum lessons or IEW Fix-It grammar.

Due to copyright, students will need to purchase a personal copy of the IEW thematic student book discussed by the parent and teacher ahead of enrollment. Students will need their book and a writing utensil for class and access to a computer for typing weekly assignments.
