Description
Class Experience
My class will focus on the individual needs of the student. Often ESL companies have lessons that are "one-size fits all." Many students would benefit from being able to take the time to focus on areas that haven't been mastered yet. For example, a student may read well, but not yet have the ability to talk about what was read. Or perhaps, a young student knows many vocabulary words but would benefit from learning to read accurately and fluently at a higher level. Older students may read very...

I have been teaching English for 18 years and I have been teaching English as a Second Language for three and a half years. I have a TESOL certificate and have taught over 10,000 online ESL classes to students ages 4 - 15. These lessons included understanding, reading, writing, and speaking English properly. I have seven years of combined in-person and online experience teaching English, phonics, sight words, grammar, and writing to students ages 4 - 6. I have six years of combined in-person and online experience teaching English, phonics, sight words, grammar, and writing to students ages 7 - 9. I have six years of combined in-person and online experience teaching English, phonics, sight words, grammar, and writing to students ages 10 -15.
Homework may be given to practice writing in English.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
